BioI am a former Marine. Feel like I've been all over the place and still not seen enough. Unfortunately I was never stationed outside CONUS. Texas was nice, South Carolina ok, Virginia, Florida, North Carolina, all I know is that I am not going back home. Hate the Ohio winters. After the military I finished two degrees, Accounting and Business Adminstration. I currently work civil service for the Marine Corps. In May I received my Green Belt Lean Six Sigma certification from Coastal Carolina and was the first to submit a CPI project for MCI East. I just moved to CA with my boyfriend who is stationed there, making a merge of two single families.
I'm from a large military family. Mostly Air Force, but I am definitely not disappointed with my decision to be a Marine. Should have done it sooner. My grandfather served in the USAF during the Korean war. He is the inspiration for my recent interest in geneology. His great grandmother was Cherokee and I am looking forward to learning what I can about their traditions.
